Mills Shipping Containers – Non-Returns Policy

At Mills Shipping Containers, we are committed to providing quality shipping containers that meet the specifications agreed with our customers. Due to the nature of our products and the logistics involved, we operate under a strict Non-Returns Policy.

1. Non-Returnable Goods

All shipping containers sold by Mills Shipping Containers are non-returnable once delivery has been completed and accepted by the customer. This applies to both new and used containers.

2. Inspection & Acceptance

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the container specification, condition, and suitability are correct prior to purchase.

  • Upon delivery, customers (or their representatives) must inspect the container before signing for acceptance.

  • Once accepted, Mills Shipping Containers will not accept any request for return or refund.

3. Condition of Containers

  • All used containers are sold as “wind and watertight” unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Photographs or condition reports can be provided prior to purchase on request.

  • Any cosmetic issues such as dents, scratches, or minor rust are considered normal for used containers and do not constitute grounds for return.

4. Cancellations

  • Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch.

  • Once a container has been loaded for delivery, cancellation is not possible and full payment will remain due.

5. Faults or Disputes

In the unlikely event of a dispute over condition or specification, Mills Shipping Containers will work with the customer to resolve the issue, but returns will not be accepted. Remedies may include repair, replacement (subject to availability), or partial refund at our discretion.

6. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect the customer’s statutory rights under UK consumer law where applicable.
